Looking to have a memorable event? At Carson City BBQ we specialize in catering all types of events, even last-minute occasions such as Celebrations of Life, with Phil’s finger-licking, award-winning sauces and rub. We provide on-site, full-service catering for weddings, company picnics, birthdays, retirements, celebrations of life and more!

Locations include, but are not limited to, Lake Tahoe, the Greater Reno area, and Carson Valley. In addition, we offer bartender and champagne service as well as table and chair rentals. You dream it, we’ll make the party happen, we’ll go anywhere!

We pride ourselves on our award-winning BBQ sauces including our Original, Hot & Spicy and our famous Chipotle Sin Sauce. We have won Best Sauce over 50 times at rib cook-offs across the country. We use only the freshest ingredients and try to source all our ingredients locally.

Take any dish to the next level with our finely perfected BBQ rub. This rub is the base of our award-winning ribs, but doesn’t stop there. Our all-purpose premium rub will bring out the best of  any dish including meat, poultry, pork, or vegetables.

He was great with communication & planning, and was able to provide chairs, tables, tablecloths, and drinks for our reception as well! We were a bit nervous since we didn’t have time to do a tasting beforehand, but Phil knows his stuff. The chicken, tri-tip, and ribs he brought were FANTASTIC. Every guest raved about the food, and many guests told me that they ate so much they had to skip dessert & even stop drinking, because they were so full!!! There was plenty for everyone, and the buffet line they set up moved so quickly! Phil also brought a bartender who was fabulous at serving all our guests & kept everything moving quickly. “We had Carson City BBQ cater our wedding last weekend and Phil and his crew BLEW us away the communication during the planning was on spot Phil was so helpful with his Expert knowledge of cooking for a wedding party and what we needed to do to make things go smooth was top notch.

Phil showed up early they set up the smoker and cooked some of the best BBQ I ever had in my life. The guests at the wedding came up to us and kept on saying this is the best food we ever had at a wedding and that meant the world to us. Guests where getting seconds and thirds, fourths of the food.

I can honestly say if your thinking about having BBQ at your wedding this is the one and only place I would recommend Phil is beyond a pro he’s a expert at what he does and Carson City BBQ gets 10 stars if I could give them that.
